Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Central City is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate rehabilitation team. The PTA will assist with therapies under a licensed PT, support residents in mobility and independence, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of practice.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility programs.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals.
• Educate residents and families on therapy plans and safety techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
