Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with prescribed exercises and activities under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Set up and apply therapy modalities such as heat/cold packs, electrical stimulation, ultrasound.
• Monitor patient safety during exercises and communicate progress to the therapist.
• Greet patients, assist with check-in, and obtain vital signs and pain scores.
• Prepare treatment areas, ensuring equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Educate patients on exercise techniques and home programs as directed.
• Assist with transfers and safe handling of patients.
• Support front office tasks and basic insurance verification as needed.
