Job summary

Professional Physical Therapy is seeking a friendly Physical Therapy Aide (Part-Time) to support our clinical team and help create an exceptional patient experience. This role is ideal for students pursuing a career in physical therapy or healthcare, offering hands-on experience in a busy outpatient setting.

You will assist with treatment areas, patient setup, equipment preparation, and clinic operations, while maintaining a clean, patient-centered environment and upholding privacy and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Physical stamina to remain active throughout the day, including lifting and assisting patients as needed.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Assist patients with setup and positioning during therapy sessions.
• Monitor equipment and make adjustments as directed by clinical staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinic environment.
• Prepare hot and cold therapy modalities.
• Support general clinic operations, including laundry and light cleaning tasks.
