Job summary

Villanova University is seeking a Graduate Assistant in the PBS Department to provide essential support through research coordination and administrative tasks. The role involves coordinating makeup examinations and guiding students through the General Psychology Research Requirement, while supporting departmental events and daily operations.

The successful candidate will be a psychology MS student, ideally with work-study eligibility; position is up to 15 hours/week and paid at $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate student in the Psychology M.S. program who does not hold a Full Graduate Assistantship.
• Work-study eligibility preferred but open to all psychology graduate students.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and proctoring the department’s make-up examinations for undergraduate students.
• Assisting in the administration of the General Psychology Research Requirement, including guiding students through the process and maintaining completion records.
• Supporting the department chair and administrative staff with a variety of tasks, such as organizing departmental events and day-to-day operations.
• Performing ad-hoc research tasks to support various faculty-led research projects.
