Job summary

DePaul University is seeking a Part-Time Research Assistant to support the Center for Community Research. The role reports to the Director and contributes to a post-viral grant project through data entry, interviews, and manuscript support.

Ideal candidates hold a B.A. or B.S., have psychology or social science research exposure, basic SPSS/Office skills, and strong writing. It is a grant-funded position contingent on funding and includes benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must have college degree (B.A. or B.S.).
• Research experience in Psychology or related field.
• Budget experience would be helpful.
• Reliable, task-oriented, and self-motivated.
• General computer knowledge; MS Word and MS Excel; SPSS.
• Must coordinate daily tasks and communicate effectively.
• Strong writing skills; grant-funded position pending funding.

Responsibilities

• Completes Center administrative tasks designated by the director.
• Trains with the Research Project Coordinator on grants administration.
• Schedules appointments and interviews.
• Administers and conducts interviews with participants.
• Enters data.
• Assists in the writing of manuscripts.
• Participates in weekly research meetings.
