Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Dunn, NC is seeking a compassionate Psychiatrist to join the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) for a 12-hour-per-week, on-site role focused on community-based mental health care and recovery.

You will lead clinical assessments, provide medication management and outpatient psychotherapy in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, helping individuals achieve stability, independence and improved quality of life in their own communities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required with active NC license.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry; ASAM certification or eligibility preferred.
• 5+ years of experience treating individuals with mental illness.
• Experience with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar disorder with psychosis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Deliver outpatient psychotherapy in community settings.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to support integrated services.
• Lead clinical decision-making and mentor ACTT team members.
