Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, Diploma or BSN in nursing from an accredited program.
• Nebraska RN license or compact state license at hire and in good standing.
• BLS/CPR certification and CPI training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional psychiatric nursing care to acutely and chronically ill patients.
• Administer medications and monitor responses; educate patients on treatment and side effects.
• Document observations, assessments, and treatments; participate in team planning.
• Supervise and train staff and coordinate care with physicians and nurses.
