Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety is seeking a part-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient psychiatric services. The ARNP will evaluate patients, establish treatment plans, prescribe within scope, and ensure timely documentation in an on-site setting in Maryland.

Willingness to work with patients with substance use disorders is preferred and arbitration as per policy applies. The role requires a Master’s in Nursing, ARNP licensure, and at least 2 years of psychiatric NP

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner licensure in state of practice
• 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Proficient understanding of TMS treatment protocols
• Ability to engage patients in therapy and use electronic medical records

Responsibilities

• Evaluate scheduled patients with psychiatric history, mental status exam, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations
• Establish rapport with patients and their social system to support treatment decisions
• Prescribe and implement treatment in line with scope of practice
• Complete records same day or within one week
• Code services ethically and support billing
• Maintain 80% productivity based on CPT time elements
• Collaborate with other clinicians and staff to provide care
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
