Job summary

Medicalincs is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver psychiatry and psychotherapy in a collaborative outpatient setting in Maryland. You will evaluate, diagnose, prescribe, and provide psychotherapy across the lifespan, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an MSN or DNP in PMHNP, PMHNP-BC certification, Maryland NP license, and DEA registration, with at least 2 years of outpatient experience.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP in PMHNP from an accredited program.
• Active PMHNP-BC certification and Maryland NP license.
• Current DEA registration and authority to prescribe psychotropic medications.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient/behavioral health experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Diagnose mental health/behavioral disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and evidence-based interventions.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation in the EHR and HIPAA standards.
