Job summary

Discovery Mood & Anxiety is seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to deliver direct psychiatric services in an outpatient setting. This part-time 1099 contractor role is on-site at our Fairfax location with pay of $70.00 to $80.00 per hour, with a preference for working with patients who have substance use disorders.

You will evaluate patients, establish rapport, prescribe and manage treatment within scope, and ensure timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Active ARNP licensure in state of practice.
• 3 years ARNP experience preferred.
• Proficient understanding of TMS treatment protocols.
• Ability to engage patients in therapy and use EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical ARNP services for psychiatric conditions in outpatient setting.
• Prescribe and manage medications within scope of practice.
• Complete records on time, typically the same day or within a week.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure patient care.
• Support ethical billing and maintain compliance.
