Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ, seeks a Part-Time Prosthodontist to join the Department of Restorative Dentistry as an Assistant/Associate Professor. The position focuses on pre-doctoral education across fixed and implant prosthodontics, with opportunities for post-graduate teaching and scholarly activity.

The candidate should hold a DDS/DMD from a CODA-accredited program, be eligible for NJ licensure, and have advanced specialty training in prosthodontics.

Qualifications

• DDS / DMD degree from a US or Canadian CODA-accredited dental school or equivalent.
• The applicant must be eligible for a New Jersey State dental license.
• Certificate of advanced specialty training in prosthodontics from a CODA accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Pre-doctoral education in fixed, removable, implant prosthodontics, occlusion, biomaterials, and operative dentistry.
• Participation in pre-clinical and post-graduate teaching; possible involvement in Master of Dental Science program; scholarly activity.
• Advising students, lecturing as directed, serving on committees as assigned, and other duties as directed by the Chair.
