Position Details

The Department of Restorative Dentistry at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine is seeking a Part-time Prosthodontist faculty member. The primary responsibilities include:

1. Pre-doctoral education in fixed, removable, implant prosthodontics, occlusion, biomaterials, and operative dentistry.
2. Participation in pre-clinical and post-graduate teaching, including potential involvement in the Departmental Master of Dental Science degree program.
3. Engagement in scholarly activities, research, and service.
4. Teaching preclinical courses and possibly serving as course director for at least one pre-clinical or post-graduate course.
5. Advising students, lecturing, and participating in departmental committees as assigned.
6. Other duties as directed by the Chair.

The position remains open until filled. Salary and rank depend on experience. Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from a US or Canadian CODA-accredited dental school or equivalent.
• Eligibility for a New Jersey State dental license.
• Possession or acquisition of BLS, CDS, and DEA certifications.
• Certificate of advanced specialty training in prosthodontics from a CODA-accredited program.
• Board certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics and background in maxillofacial prosthodontics are highly desirable.

Additional Information
