You will focus on resident satisfaction, financial performance, and efficient property management. You will lead leasing activities, manage vendor contracts, ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, and maintain accurate records using property management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of assistant property manager experience.
• Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local Fair Housing laws.
• Experience managing vendor contracts and negotiations.
• Familiarity with RealPage or similar software.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Solid accounting and computer skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and resident/landlord laws.
• High integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass drug and background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned property.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Manage leasing activities, including marketing vacant units, conducting tours, and supporting leasing goals.
• Post rent, monitor occupancy, and meet established NOI and performance targets.
• Follow established collection and delinquency procedures.
• Negotiate and manage vendor and service provider contracts to ensure quality and cost‑effective services.
• Use property management software for accurate data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Apply effective conflict‑resolution strategies to address resident issues.
• Assist with annual budget preparation and review.
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to property operations.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including Fair Housing laws.
