Countryside River Apartments in Wilmington, IL is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to handle general repairs, unit make-ready, and grounds care. The role requires on-call availability and flexibility.

Responsibilities include responding to resident requests, ensuring safety, maintaining records, and coordinating with vendors. Applicants should have their own tools, transportation, and HVAC/CPO certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in property maintenance or related fieldwork.
• HVAC certified and CPO certification preferred.
• Applicant must furnish own tools and have transportation to pick up parts from vendors.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and work on roofs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate status of service requests to residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain property and correct unsafe conditions immediately.
• Keep records of preventive maintenance, service requests, and expenditures.
• Ensure make-ready repairs are completed on schedule.
• Perform grounds work (raking, sweeping, shoveling, salting).
• Operate locks and keys as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
