Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking a Promotion Associate on a part-time basis to drive brand presence at in-store events across the region. You will engage consumers, distribute samples, and communicate selling opportunities to account staff while maintaining strong relationships with customers and brands.

Successful candidates will be comfortable on their feet during shifts, have weekend availability, and bring solid MS Office skills and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Basic PC skills including MS Office.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Weekend availability required.
• Ability to travel between event sites and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Distribute samples to customers during promotional events.
• Achieve sell-through from new distribution and communicate selling opportunities with account staff.
• Educate clients, account staff and other promotion Associates on assigned labels.
• Monitor inventory and alert relevant teams about stock fluctuations.
• Maintain account standards and use point-of-sale materials to maximize brand visibility.
• Collaborate with chain staff, distributors and suppliers to drive sales at events.
• Provide excellent customer care and adhere to account standards and guidance.
• Attend BBG brand trainings and industry workshops to maintain knowledge.
• Complete required training and pass certifications as defined by management.

They will attend targeted promotions in the field driving consumer engagement and building relationships with consumers and our brands.Compensation: $48 per 2-hour event**Candidates must have weekend availability**Job Description:Job Responsibilities:Distribute samples to customers during promotional events.Achieve sell through from all new distribution and select items by working with account staff to identify and communicate selling opportunities, completing required surveys and tracking bottles sold per hour during eventEducate clients, account staff and other promotion Associates on assigned labels.Remain aware of current inventory and out of stock situations and alerts National Account Manager to possible fluctuationsMaintain account standards as determined by management and use effective/current point of sale materials when appropriate to ensure maximum brand visibilityWork cohesively with all other personnel, including chain staff, additional distributors and suppliers to increase brand sales and ensure successful promotional eventsDeliver exceptional customer care to member’s as expected by account standards and guidanceMaintain professional and industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, BBG brand training, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networksCompletes all necessary training programs by attending, participating, and passing all required tests as defined by managementOther duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.Minimum Qualifications:Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation softwareMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesUtilize sound judgement and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentMust be 21 years old or olderPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience preferred.An understanding of wine, beer and spirits is required.
