Job summary

This part-time role emphasizes strong PM skills and vendor management to ensure successful delivery. You will manage UAT, deployment readiness, and maintain project schedules and budgets while coordinating cross-functional teams and reporting to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• PMI PMP certification required.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated experience with effective team building and communication.
• Experience implementing SaaS or PaaS solutions.
• Strong vendor management experience.
• Experience supporting planning, development, and validation of IT requirements.
• Knowledge of Virginia policies, standards, procedures, and practices.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, and status reporting.
• Experience leading system implementation and UAT activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, configuration, staff training, and deployment of replacement licensing and management system.
• Lead user acceptance testing and certify readiness for deployment.
• Manage change and vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track schedules, budgets, and provide status reports to leadership.
• Coordinate project team responsibilities and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
