Job summary

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) seeks a part-time Professional Development Coordinator in Arlington, VA. The role supports AFP’s professional development programs, reports to the VP of Professional Development, and requires in-office presence two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday).

Responsibilities include coordinating course licensing, digital programs, vendor research, and project-team support.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Experience with professional development activities preferred.
• Experience with paid content and publications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support AFP’s professional development programs and services.
• Support course licensing and digital programs (webinars, e-courses, virtual events).
• Assist with vendor research and RFI/RFP processes for new service providers.
• Provide staff support to AFP volunteer committees and coordinate meetings.
