Job summary

PEL-FREEZ, LLC in Rogers, AR is seeking a production team member to assist in manufacturing food products. The role involves live animal handling, slaughter, packing, and sanitation, all conducted under written procedures.

Qualifications

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 6:50 am to 12:00 pm Friday only as needed

Job Summary:

• Manufacture food products including, but not limited to live animal handling, slaughter, packing, and sanitation.
• Follow written procedures throughout manufacturing processes and provide timely notice and seek proper instruction or guidance to manage through manufacturing issues.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma preferred
• Food production experience preferred

• Able to work as part of a team
• Ability to follow verbal and demonstrated instructions and learn functions of the position in a reasonable amount of time.
• Ability to work safely with or near a knife or saw
• Ability to perform repetitive work without losing focus
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in the same spot
• Ability to withstand harsh environment, i.e. cold, hot, wet, etc.
• Follow all company rules and regulations as it relates to food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, USDA, FSIS, and OSHA.
