MUSC Health East Cooper Internal Medicine in Mt. Pleasant, SC, is seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Provider for primary care with 4.5 half-day sessions weekly. The role focuses on acute visits within a busy outpatient clinic and reports to a supervising physician.

Candidates should have completed an accredited PA or NP program and be licensed or eligible for licensure. Minimum 1 year in primary or urgent care is preferred; 2+ years desirable. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a PA.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN.

Responsabilités

• Performs comprehensive patient history and physical examinations.
• Evaluates and treats based on test results and clinical guidelines.
• Provides procedures and referrals as needed in primary care settings.
