Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a flexible, part-time Nurse Practitioner for the Health Center in Downtown Pittsburgh, PA. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a schedule of 3 days per week, including Mondays and Fridays.

The NP will provide high-quality, personalized primary care to client employees, with autonomous decision-making and no heavy supervision. The role requires active NP licensure (state RN/NP), DEA license, ANCC or AANP national certification, MSN, and

Qualifications

• Maintain state RN and NP licenses to practice.
• Maintain prescriptive authority where applicable.
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
• Master's in Science of Nursing.
• BLS/ACLS as required.
• At least three years of NP experience in ambulatory/occupational health/ED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate documentation.
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
