Job summary
Premise Health in Hanover, PA is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care to employees and dependents ages 3 and up at our Health Center. The role emphasizes building relationships and delivering convenient, collaborative care with set shifts on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The NP will perform exams, procedures, care plans, patient education, order tests, and coordinate with physicians.
Qualifications
- Active RN license and NP certification required.
- Master’s degree in nursing is required.
- ANCC or AANP national certification required.
- DEA license and prescriptive authority as applicable.
- Three+ years NP experience in ambulatory/occupational health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Develop patient care plans and document progress for continuity.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for care.
- Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications.
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient health records and documentation.
- Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
