Job summary

Premise Health in Pittsburgh seeks a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care at our Downtown Health Center. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no evenings or weekends.

This role requires a Master of Science in Nursing, state RN and NP licenses, and current national certification. Ambulatory/occupational health experience is preferred; DEA license and prescriptive authority as applicable may be required.

Qualifications

• Masters of Science in Nursing required.
• Current national NP certification (ANCC or AANP).
• State RN and NP licenses to practice; prescriptive authority as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient exams and preventive care in ambulatory setting.
• Develops care plans and coordinates with healthcare teams.
• Prescribes treatments and referrals as appropriate.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
