Job summary

Jubilee Early Child Development Center in Daphne, AL is seeking an educator to create a safe, engaging classroom where children grow, learn, and build confidence. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (ECE degree preferred), 1–2 years preschool teaching experience, knowledge of licensing, background check, CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (degree in Early Childhood Education preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
• Knowledge of state licensing requirements and classroom compliance.
• Must pass background check and complete ongoing professional development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and team.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing classroom and meet safety/ratio requirements.
• Lead activities that support children's learning and development.
• Provide active supervision and guide behavior with positive reinforcement.
• Support daily routines, including meals, naps, transitions.
• Observe, document, and share student progress with families.
• Collaborate with your team to deliver a high-quality classroom experience.
