Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum state licensing qualifications for Teacher Assistant.
• Prior early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• CDA preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs (IEPs and behavior plans).
• Support planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Education programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and document accidents/incidents.
