Job summary

City of Moorpark is seeking a motivated Preschool Aide for 10-20 hours per week to support the Little Learners Academy. You will assist in planning and implementing early childhood activities and supervise children during preschool and recreation programs.

The ideal candidate has at least six ECE units and a high school diploma, with some experience in educational or recreational settings. Duties include setup/cleanup, light custodial tasks, and basic first aid when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; six ECE units are required for consideration.
• Experience working with children in education or recreation programs is desirable.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain records, and supervise children safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.
• Supervise and assist in learning activities for children.
• Provide on-site supervision and support for preschool and recreation programs.

• Administer basic first aid when necessary and notify supervisors.
