Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a part-time Prep Cook in Mountain View, CA. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a fixed pay rate of $35.71 per hour. Previous prep cooking experience is preferred.

Online applications are accepted for Bon Appétit’s cafés serving corporations, universities, and museums across the country. The role involves preparing food per recipes and production sheets, maintaining HACCP standards, and serving customers with efficiency

Qualifications

• Previous prep cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and prep requirements from Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after use.
• Store, label and date all food items; follow HACCP guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and logs as required.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Take orders from customers and prepare items with short prep time.
• Serve customers efficiently and kindly.
• Fill orders from steam tables and grills and serve at multiple stations.
• Use approved recipes and production standards for quality and portion control.
• Operate and clean equipment after use.
• Store, label and date food items per policy.
• Follow HACCP to ensure food safety.
• Resolve customer concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
