Carolina Hurricanes is seeking a food prep professional to prepare all foods for functions throughout the building, following recipes and production sheets. You will complete projects on schedule and provide general kitchen support to the Sous Chef, using only approved recipes and keeping areas clean and organized.

Must be 18+, have excellent food prep and culinary skills, and preferably previous food/beverage or restaurant experience.

• Must pass criminal background check.

• Complete assigned projects within allocated time sequence.

Responsible for the preparation of food products for all functions throughout the building. Prepare all foods according to recipes and production sheets. Complete assigned projects within allocated time sequence. Provide general kitchen procedural assistance to Sous Chef as requested. Utilize only those recipes approved by Chefs. Maintain work area, coolers and dry storage in a clean and orderly fashion. Assist in maintenance of sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old. Must have excellent food prep and culinary skills. Previous food and beverage or restaurant experience is preferred. Should be able to stand for long periods of time including walking up and down stairs. Must be able to work flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Must pass criminal background check.

Must have 75% overall availability for all potential workdays each month
