Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to train and oversee Package Handlers and Clerks, focusing on safety, productivity, and accurate timecard submission. This role holds teams accountable for attendance and daily operations.

You will develop relationships with staff and customers, run trainings, lead meetings, coordinate evaluations, and resolve package issues while upholding UPS’s code of conduct and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kg) and work flexible shifts.
• Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all duties are done safely and on time.
• Upholds UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.
