Job summary

Claremont McKenna College's Claremont Autism Center is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to join our research team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) for one year. The fellow operates under the supervision of the PI and Director of the Autism Center.

As a core member of the research team, you will contribute to projects on neurodevelopment, emotion regulation, clinical processes, psychophysiology, and families and have the opportunity to develop independent lines of research. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Clinical or Developmental Psychology or closely related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of research experience with at least one co-authored publication.
• Experience collecting data from neurodiverse and clinical populations.
• Experience involving autonomic psychophysiology data collection.
• Proficiency in advanced statistical modeling and analysis (MLM, SEM, LPA, causal mediation).
• Proficient with SPSS, MPlus, and R.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate community engagement and study recruitment.
• Support the development and management of the Center’s research registry.
• Prepare IRB materials and coordinate IRB submissions and communications.
• Collaborate with the PI to design research studies, including independent projects.
• Supervise data collection activities.
• Support and oversee data entry and management.
• Assist in supervising undergraduate and graduate student research projects.
• Prepare research findings for presentation and publication.
