Job summary

Island Palm Communities in Wahiawa, HI is seeking a part-time Pool Attendant to supervise the pool area, enforce rules, and ensure guest safety.

You will help maintain cleanliness, perform daily safety checks, and assist with emergency response per Red Cross standards as needed.

Qualified candidates are high school students or graduates with Lifeguard/CPR certification and English proficiency; training is provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification including CPR.
• Ability to read and write in English to follow instructions.
• Positive attitude and timely/effective communication with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe pool area and monitor for emergencies.
• Enforce pool rules and ensure proper attire; limit occupancy as needed.
• Coordinate with Certified Pool Operator for maintenance and cleaning.
• Open/close pool area and secure gates at end of day.
• Dress in prescribed uniform and stay neat and groomed.
