Job summary

Halekulani Corp. in Honolulu, HI seeks a Pool Service Attendant (Part-Time) to maintain pool deck areas and deliver high-level service. Duties include taking orders, delivering items, processing payments, and assisting guests with seating and towels.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in guest services or hospitality, a high school diploma, and certification requirements such as CPR. Must be able to work outdoors in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Required minimum of one (1) year prior experience as a Restaurant Server, Pool Attendant, Guest Service-related position in a comparable environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Prior culinary and guest relations training preferred.
• Any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Provide attentive, anticipatory, and gracious service to guests.
• Take food and beverage orders, utilizing upselling techniques and note dietary needs.
• Input orders into POS system and ensure transmission of beverage orders to the bar.
