Job summary

TCAT Jackson is seeking a Part-Time Practical Nursing Instructor for the Brownsville Campus to teach in the Evening/Weekend schedule. This grant-funded role supports the Rural Healthcare Pathways Expansion Grant and reports to the Nursing and Allied Health leadership.

The position requires an active RN license in Tennessee, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and 3+ years of recent clinical RN experience. Evening and weekend availability is required; teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure in Tennessee; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of three years of clinical RN experience within the last five years.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Practical Nursing courses in the evening and on weekends.
• Supervise students' clinical experiences as scheduled.
• Assist with curriculum instruction in the classroom.
• Assist with identifying and securing clinical sites for training.
• Stay current in nursing practice and communicate policy/technology changes.
