Job summary

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jackson is seeking a Part-Time Practical Nursing Instructor for the Brownsville extension campus.

The role involves assisting with training of students in Practical Nursing, supervising clinical experiences, and coordinating with clinical sites to provide training opportunities. Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing and an active RN license in Tennessee; BSN preferred and at least three years of recent clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Must hold active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of three years of clinical RN experience within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting training of students in Practical Nursing.
• Assist with curriculum instruction in the classroom.
• Supervise students' clinical experience as scheduled.
• Assist with actively seeking potential clinical sites for the provision of clinical training.
• Demonstrate a commitment to staying current in the nursing field.
• Confer with administration to gain knowledge and better understand policy, procedure, and technology changes.
