Job summary

Guidelight Health in Norwood, MA is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic support within our PHP and IOP programs. You’ll collaborate with psychiatrists and therapists to deliver holistic patient care onsite.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN and PMHNP-BC (or PA) certification with an active license, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Board certification as PMHNP-BC or PA, or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure as PMHNP or PA.
• Minimum 1 year prescribing medication experience.
• Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and medications.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Cultural competence and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to manage complex cases and crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses for PHP/IOP patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support when needed.
• Document care per agency policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric practices.
