Job summary

TeamHealth seeks a part-time PMHNP or Psych PA-C to provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat disorders in older adults across Abilene and San Angelo. Flexible, onsite schedule with remote documentation; no nights or weekends.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage psychotropic medications, and participate in round-and-go care in SNF/LTC/ALF settings. Texas license and DEA willing to obtain required; 6 months experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain.
• 6 months experience needed as a PMHNP or Psych PA.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
