Job summary

BioLife is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomy support in Cheyenne, WY. This role features 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, and a paid interactive training program. You will greet donors, perform donor screening, record vital signs, and support center operations.

You will use the Donor Information System, maintain accurate donor charts, and assist with donor compensation, while contributing to a safe and friendly center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
• 90% of tasks involve glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens
• 1+ years minimum experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, ensuring donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and implement center-process improvements.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
