Job summary

Takeda is hiring part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist roles in Roseville, CA. The position requires CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT licenses and involves donor screening, phlebotomy, and record-keeping.

Shifts are 4–6 hours, 3+ days per week with training and a commitment to reliable donor service. Evening, weekend, and holiday work is required. High school diploma or equivalent is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday work availability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting of 32 lbs.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years of experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring their safety.
• Screen donors, record vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
