Job summary

CDX Medical is seeking a Part-Time Physician (MD or DO) licensed in Illinois to provide medical oversight and physician interpretation for onsite Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS). The role offers collaboration with Speech-Language Pathologists and clinical staff in a flexible, low-stress setting focused on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include history taking, physicals, supervising MBSS procedures, documenting findings, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice in Illinois.
• Medicare/Medicaid credentialed or eligible for credentialing.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient history and physical assessments for MBSS safety.
• Provide medical oversight during onsite MBSS.
• Operate portable fluoroscopic equipment per protocols and regulations.
• Provide physician interpretation and documentation of MBSS findings.
• Complete documentation using company technology.
• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff and facility personnel.
• Maintain compliance with Medicare guidelines and company policies.
• Contribute to a positive patient and partner experience.
