Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapists in delivering patient care. You will administer modalities, assist with exercises, and help maintain records, equipment, and department appearance.

Shifts are Friday, Saturday and Sunday with flexible hours. Applicants should be PTA graduates, hold a PTA license in the state of practice, and have BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Experience in therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PTA program required.
• PTA license in the state of practice required.

• Experience with therapy preferred.
• Background in Allied Health field beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercises and procedures.
• Assist in medical records, upkeep of department appearance and equipment.
• Provide support to improve department functioning.
