Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator in a busy Iowa Falls clinic. You will prepare patients for PT, assist with treatments, greet arrivals, and help with scheduling and filing, while ensuring safety and compliance with state practice acts.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (intern preferred) and preferred rehab tech experience, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate and or intern preferred.
• Work Experience: Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Knowledge and Technical Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to document projects; attention to detail; patient satisfaction; energetic team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists during treatments.
• Safeguards and motivates patients during exercises under staff direction.
• Provides routine treatments (hot/cold packs, ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment; washes linens and maintains restrooms.
• Assists patient experience coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
