Job summary

ATI Health in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapy Aide to support the clinical team. You will greet patients, assist with check-in, prepare treatment areas, and help patients with exercises under therapist supervision.

This role includes onboarding new patients, verifying benefits, and aiding with scheduling. Hands-on training and mentorship are provided in a collaborative outpatient rehab setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients by phone and in person during check-in and throughout their appointment.
• Promote efficient patient intake and registration, assist with scheduling.
• Onboard new patients, review paperwork, verify benefits, and complete forms.
• Assist therapists by preparing and cleaning treatment areas and setting up exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients with exercises and home exercise programs.
