Job summary

Rivetus Rehabilitation seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to deliver skilled PT services Sundays at Sterling Heights, MI. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and supervise PTAs and aides within a regulated facility setting.

Candidate must have completed an accredited PT program and hold Michigan licensure, with strong clinical judgment and communication skills to coordinate care and documentation in EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan.
• Ability to supervise PTAs and aides.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy screenings and evaluations to determine patient physical status.
• Provide physical therapy treatment in accordance with professional standards.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to reach patients’ highest potential for independence.
• Provide direct patient care adhering to productivity standards and documentation requirements.
• Supervise PTAs and aides as assigned.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure reimbursement guidelines.
• Participate in patient care conferences and CQI activities.
• Engage in continuing education and in-service programs.
• Assist in new program development and departmental operations.
