Job summary

Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with mobility, strength, and functional limitations. You will design individualized treatment plans, oversee post-surgical rehabilitation, and educate patients and families on safe home exercise and use of assistive devices.

The role requires a PT license in GA, a current BCLS certificate, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional limitations.
• Create individualized therapy plans to improve movement and function.
• Assist post-surgical rehabilitation to regain function after procedures.
• Apply pain management techniques to reduce pain and improve comfort.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and use of assistive devices.
