Job summary

DORN Companies is seeking a Part-Time Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist in Boulder, CO. This 1099 contractor role offers 8am–1:30pm hours and a $40–$45 hourly rate.

You will conduct ergonomic assessments, deliver body mechanics coaching, and provide hands-on deep tissue therapy at client sites. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in injury prevention, licensure in AT/PT/OT/OTA/PTA/LMT, and proficiency with MS Office and DORNs reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate, Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field.
• Experience: 2–4 years in injury prevention or related field, preferably industrial.
• Hands-on therapy and coaching in body mechanics.
• Interest in ergonomics is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Body Mechanics Coaching: Guide employees on proper body mechanics and self-care techniques.
• Risk Assessment & Solutions: Assess risks with site management and safety teams; implement prevention strategies.
• Hands-On Therapy: Provide deep tissue therapy to enhance performance and well-being.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records using DORN's systems.
• Employee Surveys: Gather feedback on impact of services.
• Reporting: Communicate with client site teams and DORN management weekly and monthly.
