Job summary

DORN Companies is seeking a Part-Time Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist to deliver on-site ergonomic assessments, body mechanics coaching, and hands-on therapy at client sites. The role supports safety and efficiency through risk assessments and education while offering flexible gig-based hours.

Ideal candidates hold relevant licensure (AT/PT/OT/OTA/PTA/LMT) and bring 2–4 years of injury prevention experience, with strong communication and ability to work independently or with teams.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: certificate, bachelor’s or master’s in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years in injury prevention or related field, preferably industrial.
• Experience with hands-on therapy and coaching body mechanics.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Licensure or credentialing in AT, PT, OT, OTA, PTA, or LMT is valued.

Responsibilities

• Guide employees on proper body mechanics and self-care to prevent injuries.
• Collaborate with site management to assess risks and implement prevention strategies.
• Provide deep tissue therapy to enhance performance and well-being.
• Maintain detailed records using DORN systems and processes.
• Collect feedback via employee surveys.
• Weekly and monthly reporting to client site teams and DORN management.
