Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited Physical Therapy curriculum.
• Current State License.
• CPR certified, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• One to two years of experience with geriatrics preferred.
• Qualified new graduates will be considered.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate well and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Physical Therapy services to patients to improve function.
• Evaluate, plan & implement the treatment program.
• Obtain information from initial evaluation to establish goals.
• Coordinate programs and document progress within designated timeframes.
• Delegate to/supervise aides appropriately and assist with staff orientation.
• Assist with discharge criteria and family education.
