Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical function and mobility, including assessments of strength, range of motion, balance, and coordination
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals, utilizing a variety of techniques and therapies
• Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretches, and modalities, to promote patient progress and recovery
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
• Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, safety precautions, and strategies for self-care and management of chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs to stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines
