Job summary

Open Arms Care in Memphis, TN, is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide essential therapy services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This part-time position of 12-15 hours per week involves evaluating clients, creating tailored treatment plans, and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.

Candidates should have a Doctorate Level Degree in Physical Therapy and a current TN license. Experience with developmental disabilities is a plus. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited academic program in Physical Therapy with Doctorate Level Degree.
• Must have passed the National Physical Therapy Examination.
• Current Licensure from the TN Board of Physical Therapy.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy Services to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Establish and implement effective treatment plans.
• Assess clients for movement dysfunction and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Document treatment results and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
