Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician to support the WI ACL Laboratories network at the WI AHC Spring Street site and adjacent facilities.

You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, verify patient information, enter results, assist with inventory, and support clerical tasks while maintaining safety and patient care standards. No prior phlebotomy experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior phlebotomy experience required; training provided.
• Clear communication with patients and staff is essential.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and safety.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens per protocol.
• Label specimens accurately and ensure proper tracking for testing.
• Perform limited CLIA-compliant testing per policy.
• Assist with phone inquiries, inventory, and billing support.
• Process and document test requests and enter results.
