Job summary

CALRegional in Fresno, CA is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician Skills Assistant to support the lead instructor and help students develop blood collection skills. The role requires a current CPT-1 license, about 1 year of relevant experience, and comfort speaking to groups.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT-1).
• About 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Comfort speaking to large groups and maintaining poise.
• Organized and detail-oriented performance in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with skills within the scope of practice for their subject area.
• Supports the lead instructor in evaluating, reporting, and recording student progress.
• Helps with skill labs, grading class assignments and exams.
• Prepares students for externships and reinforces professional values and communication.
